History
The remarkable success story of American Nursing Services Inc., a supplemental staffing and home care company began in 1982. Chartered in February of that year, ANS opened its headquarters in the greater New Orleans metropolitan area to provide the highest quality, experienced and dedicated clinicians to care for patients in the community. After expanding nationwide for over 25 years, ANS continues to diversify. We provide supplemental staffing of registered nurses, licensed practical or licensed vocational nurses, and certified nursing assistants to healthcare facilities and to homecare patients. American Health Corp., our rapidly expanding Allied Health and Travel Division continues to offer challenging, diversified opportunities to an array of healthcare professionals. In New Orleans and in Shreveport, Louisiana, ANS still maintains it’s Home Health Care Divisions which are Medicare and Medicaid certified.
